1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We operate on our own with no ties to any government office. We do not store official criminal records and we cannot pull records, run official background checks, or file documents for anyone.

We identify the offices holding Oglethorpe County criminal records, including the sheriff, trial-court clerk, Georgia Crime Information Center, and Georgia Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect readers with third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Do not use information from this site or a linked tool to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may be criminal. O.C.G.A. §42-1-12 governs Georgia Sex Offender Registry information, which exists for public awareness rather than vigilantism or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

For an FCRA-regulated purpose, use the proper official or FCRA-compliant provider rather than this website.
